IFCOMA organized its 29th BSM cum Exhibition of Footwear Components & Accessories at Nehru Centre, Worli, Mumbai on 11th & 12th August, 2007 (6th at Mumbai).
The two day fair had 43 component manufacturers including machinery suppliers and Leather Tanners from all over India displaying their products for the benefit of the footwear manufacturers in Mumbai.
The 6th BSM at Mumbai was inaugurated on 11th th Aug. 2007 by the Chief Guest Shri Abdul Virji of M/S Regal Shoes, one of the most reputed chains of shoe-shops.
During the Inauguration Sh. B. D. Bhaiya, President, IFCOMA, presented the "IFCOMA EXCELLENCE AWARD" to Shri Atul Sanghani of M/S Chandan Exports Corporation for his fruitful contribution to the industry.

The events started off with Mr. Jeevan Razdan welcoming the guests & inviting Mr. Bhaiya to takeover the mike & welcome the guests. Mr. Bhaiya, in his brief speech stressed upon the need of complete co-ordination between the shoe manufacturers and component manufacturers. The guests present on the dias and assembled for inauguration were then invited to light the lamp. Mr Jeevan Rajdan thanked the dignitaries to spare their valuable time for the event and hoped that IFCOMA will in future also continue to enjoy their support.
Noted singer Mr. Suresh Wadkar also accompanied Mr. Sanghani during the inauguration ceremony as guest of honour. Mr. Prakash Mahtani also graced the occasion as the guest of honour.
The chief guest & the guests of honour inaugurated the event by symbolic cutting of ribbon & declared the event open. They also showed keen interest in the different components displayed in the BSM, while taking round.
The 6th Mumbai BSM was a grand success with more than 450 footwear and leather goods manufacturers visiting the two day BSM.
In the evening, a dinner was also hosted for the Industry, where the participants and all stalwarts of the industry were present.
