IFCOMA
organized its 7th BSM cum Exhibition of Footwear Components & Accessories at Hotel Little Chef on 16th & 17th December, 2009.
The two day fair had 59 participants from all over India, including machinery manufacturers and Tanners. The
BSM
attracted more than 700 trade visitors from the region.
The
BSM
was inaugurated by the Distinguished Guests,
Shri Mukhtarul Amin (Ex. Chairman CLE) & Shri Irshad Mirza
by cutting of the ribbon.
Shri Mukhtarul Amin in his inaugural address praised the efforts of IFCOMA and offered his assistance to the component industry for development of new technologies and products. Sh Irshad Mirza also praised the component industry in moving forward with the times and modernizing itself day by day.

Welcoming the guests,
Mr. B. D. Bhaiya, President, IFCOMA,
thanked distinguished guests for taking out time from their busy schedules to be present at the inauguration.
He also invited the Footwear manufacturers of the region to have an open session with the component manufacturers to allay their doubts, if any, to the quality and availability of components produced in India.
Sh Bhaiya
also thanked Sh Mirza for his appreciation and assured the gathering that the Indian component manufacturers are well equipped with the latest technologies and will keep on upgrading their facilities day by day.
The BSM was a grand success with the help of our members from Kanpur, especially
Sh. G. K Dhupar Vice president (central), Sh. Javed Iqbal of Naaz Leather Finishers, Sh. Zeeshan Sikandar of Sikandar Tanners. Sh. Dhupar
also hosted a dinner for the participants and the industry on 16th December.
The two day event attracted more than 550 trade visitors and the exhibitors reported brisk business during the event.
