IFCOMA is a vibrant organization, always on its toes, and making certain that its activities are in strict conformity with the objectives and mission of the association. We continue to lend impetus to the all round development of the large Indian footwear component industry and its members through the following activities which are held all-year-round at varying levels of participation by its members, Indian as well as foreign affiliates and institutions.

• Organizing lectures, seminars, workshops and conferences to disseminate useful information on topics of current interest to different segments of the industry.
• Publishing of a web site which will become a source of readily available and latest information to its members and the world wide users about the footwear component industry and the leather sector. This web site is available at IFCOMA
• Recommending policy alternatives to the Government of India and also to the industry at appropriate times.
• Organization of Trade Meets, Exhibitions, Workshops and Technical Seminars.
• Providing assistance for Human Resource Development efforts and Research and Development efforts to the members.
• National level recognition of members by awarding them the "IFCOMA Excellence Award" for outstanding performance or contribution to the industry.
